Future(s) Mapping
I design containers for groups and organizations to navigate a continuously changing environment. My facilitation approach maps complexities, develops collective foresight, surfaces conflict, and supports collaborative decision-making in shifting social, economic, and political landscapes, with an orientation towards critical hope.
Organizing Strategy
I design processes for groups to develop robust organizing strategies the issues they care about. Together we will map power, constituencies, resources, tactics and messaging for effective mass mobilizations and grassroots campaigns.
Learning & Engagement
I design a wide range of training and learning opportunities for groups on topics like conflict engagement, decision-making, future-mapping and political education. Trainings and learning opportunities are co-created with groups to best serve their goals.
Approach
My approach to facilitation draws on over a decade of work within social movements, non-profit organizations and government institutions. I focus on tactics that enable transformation by both surfacing the wisdom of each individual through democratic processes and supporting the collective to chart a strategic path forward together. The spaces we create are rooted in my guiding principles: love, hospitality, purpose, discipline and adaptability. I leverage approaches from deliberative democracy, conflict engagement, emergent strategy and community organizing.
